NERD ALERT!!

I read a new book yesterday..No..I didn't start a book..I read the entire thing between midnight when I got home, and 4 pm the next day..... NERD ALERT!!! But it was really, REALLY good!!! It was called Confessions of a Memory Eater by Pagan Kennedy and I highly recommend it. It's loosely based on Thomas DeQuincey's Confessions of an English Opium Eater, only adds a little bit of Sci-Fi twist and it is, in fact, only fiction whereas DeQuincey's book is a first hand account of the effects of opium and his book created the opium epidemic in England in the 19th century.... the author took that theory, and twisted it into something so ingenious..... I loved it. The whole story when it was over had a very "Adaptation" feel to it for any Nicolas Cage fans out there that actually saw that movie and understood it. (Hint, if you thought it sucked....you should stick to films such as John Tucker Must Die). But honestly...read it... I emplore you to read it...it's like 200 pages, and if you are near to me, I'll even let you borrow it. I'll need collatteral though, my friend Alicia has it right now, and I have a shiny new silver bracelt of hers until she returns it...... I'm a cunt like that. :-)
